The TROTRO XpeRienCe

There was this day I took the trotro to some place. I have forgotten where exactly I was going. Well 'trotro' is a bus we take to any place of your choice when you are low on cash or you are on a budget or you just want to have a feel of it.

This very day I was sitting next to the mate. A mate is someone the collects the money in the trotro and calls out places the trotro is going to alert people.

I couldn't stand the odour oozing out of the mate's body. It was so bad. I had to hold my nose the whole time. Sometimes I wonder if these mates do not take their bath before they start their early morning routine. Spraying your body with perfume will even make it worse; that is what some of them do even the driver.

Personal hygiene is very important it can make or break you. Taking care of yourself is very important especially your personal hygiene. Brushing your teeth at least twice a day and bathing at least twice a day, using a deodorant after a shower are basic things one can do for him/herself.

You should never forget these things. You having a body odour can make you loose your job or your date. You can even loose friends or people wouldn't want to associate with you.

This mate that was suffocating me with his smell, I don't know how he would have felt if I told him he was smelling or I told him he needed a bath. Hmmm....Come to think of it what would you have done if you were in my situation?

Always remember " First impressions matter and please make your personal hygiene a priority"

The form One XpeRienCe (Senior High) Part 2

I was told the prep was going to be held at the dining hall since we haven't been given classes yet. I joined a batch of girls at the table and I opened a book to read. Some girls were just talking about what they did after they graduated from Junior high school and some were talking about trending things going on. We got down and stood infront of them. I was told to go to bed since I just came today. The seniors told them to showcase their talents right infront of them. One of them sang a Jordan Sparks song titled 'No Air', another sang a gospel song and one senior said who could sing Brick and lace song 'Love is wicked'.
