The Form One XpeRienCe part 3

We got down and stood infront of them. I was told to go to bed since I just came today. The seniors told them to showcase their talents right infront of them.

One of them sang a Jordan Sparks song titled 'No Air', another sang a gospel song and one senior said who could sing Brick and lace song 'Love is wicked'. At the time, that song was reigning and was the ish. They were just standing there, no one came forward.

I was just lying on my bed and I was singing that song. I didn't know they were listening because I thought I wasn't that loud so when I stopped I realized the place was super quiet.

The next thing I heard was 'form one girl get down' . I got up from my bed and stood infront of them then I was asked to sing the song I was singing.

I did when I was done, I was asked to go back to bed and that was it.

The next day was Saturday and I didn't know what to expect. I got to the bathroom to take my bath and I realized that the bathroom was an opened bathhouse where many girls could bath at the same time. I was terrified.

I didn't know what to do but looking at them it felt normal.

Whiles standing there naked and trying to bath I wasn't comfortable. I quickly hurried to bath and I left.

I got to the dormitory, dressed and made myself something to eat.

When I was about to eat, I saw a familiar face and when I got closer I realized she was my senior in junior high. I was so glad and I hurried out to meet her. We spoke for a short while and she told me what house she was in.

After that I left and went back to my chow (food).

My school mum told me to go to class for prep so the subject I was reading was literature. My class was 1L1. The course comprised of English, maths, core french, literature, history, elective french, Christian religious studies, science.

I joined the class. Unfortunately the seat that was left was infront and I hated it but there was nothing I could do so I sat down.

When I turned I saw my classmate, someone I went to the same school with some time back. I smiled at her and turned.

It was an interesting morning but I was still trying to adjust because I had never been to a boarding school before and I had no idea what more to expect.

During a chat with a classmate I learnt there was going to be an entertainment night at the Asibey Hall. That information alone made me extremely excited because I needed something to relax and not to get me overthinking.

Natural Hair Craze

The natural hair has been the biggest rave that everyone is doing. Most people do it because they feel is nice, others feel is cheaper to do and others feel it gives you a new look from your regular style. There are a lot of pictures on social media of people's hair, natural hair styles, natural hair care, etc. But what I have noticed with all of this is that people are just doing it without researching about it first so they tend to do a lot of mistakes and end up with really bad hair. When I was told about natural hair, I was told about transition; that is having to grow your hair without having to cut it.
