The natural hair has been the biggest rave that everyone is doing. Most people do it because they feel is nice, others feel is cheaper to do and others feel it gives you a new look from your regular style.
There are a lot of pictures on social media of people's hair, natural hair styles, natural hair care, etc. But what I have noticed with all of this is that people are just doing it without researching about it first so they tend to do a lot of mistakes and end up with really bad hair.
When I was told about natural hair, I was told about transition; that is having to grow your hair without having to cut it. With that you see growth and you see two different textures of your hair; natural and perm. When I had that information, I was skeptical about it so I decided to do a lot of research on natural hair which some people referred to it as virgin hair and I also watched a lot of YouTube videos regarding that.
As I researched, I fell in love with natural hair and my curiosity got the better part of me because I wanted to know more.
When I was satisfied with everything I had read and seen, I decided to try it. For one I was happy that I was no longer going to put relaxer in my hair and not going to sit under the dryer for hours.
For these reasons I joined the natural hair gang and I haven't regretted since. I have grown so much in knowing what my hair needs and how to care for my hair and have fun doing it.
All because I researched and I was ready for the adventure. I wasn't coping blindly or having surface information. I had an indept understanding of what I was doing.
It is very important to have adequate information of anything you will like to do or try out especially when it has to do with your look, business, a vacation, a course etc.
Enough said, those out there that want to try the natural hair or those doing it without much information, I advice that you should do a lot of research and be ready for the adventure before you go into it and that will help you alot .
Let me know if you are part of the natural hair gang and how long have you been natural. Let's get talking!!!
Stay safe and keep calm
Peace!!! Shalom!!!
