The Form One XpeRienCe (High school)

I went to the School on Friday.I think I was supposed to be there on Tuesday but because of something I couldn't make it so I was there that Friday with my mum.

My mum was supposed to bring along some documents but she forget them so she had to leave but she got me some snacks before she left.

I was just sitting under the shed with my bags and everything waiting.

I waited for a very long time before I was been shown my house and where I was going to sleep. I left my bags at the dormitory and changed to my house dress and left for  dining.

I was told to sit at the prefect's table. On the table, most of them were using spoon to eat so I also decided to do same. Immediately I picked up the spoon, the senior said form One girl use your cutlery meaning use fork and knife.

I had no idea how to use it because at home you either use a fork or a spoon to eat so because of that I decided not to eat but just to observe.

I just couldn't wait for dining to be over so that I could go back to the dormitory and pack my things.

After some time dining was over and I left. When I got to the dormitory I was told there's prep. I didn't know what that was so I asked and I was told is reading your books. I stood there thinking what was there to learn, I just got here.

                To be continued!!!!!

The form One XpeRienCe (Senior High) Part 2

I was told the prep was going to be held at the dining hall since we haven't been given classes yet. I joined a batch of girls at the table and I opened a book to read. Some girls were just talking about what they did after they graduated from Junior high school and some were talking about trending things going on. I was just tired to even talk to anyone by the time I realized I was fast asleep. I don't know how fast the time went. After a while, I heard the siren and that immediately told me prep was over. I took my book and headed for the dormitory but first house prayers were made before we were allowed to enter into our dorms. I got in so exhausted. Immediately, I started packing my things because I didn't want to wait for tomorrow.  I didn't like where I was sleeping. My bed was right beside the door but hey there was nothing I could do since I came late.  Fortunately or unfortunately for me I ended up getting two school mothers; one was in form 3 and the other w...

The Form One XpeRienCe part 3

We got down and stood infront of them. I was told to go to bed since I just came today. The seniors told them to showcase their talents right infront of them. One of them sang a Jordan Sparks song titled 'No Air', another sang a gospel song and one senior said who could sing Brick and lace song 'Love is wicked'. At the time, that song was reigning and was the ish. They were just standing there, no one came forward. I was just lying on my bed and I was singing that song. I didn't know they were listening because I thought I wasn't that loud so when I stopped I realized the place was super quiet. The next thing I heard was 'form one girl get down' . I got up from my bed and stood infront of them then I was asked to sing the song I was singing. I did when I was done, I was asked to go back to bed and that was it. The next day was Saturday and I didn't know what to expect. I got to the bathroom to take my bath and I realized that the bathroom was an ope...

SeamTailor Saga

I don't understand why seamstresses and tailors are always lying.  Did they go to school of lying and studied the course lying affairs and graduated with a first class degree? aahhbbaa!!! This is too much. Does this happen everywhere or just in Ghana? I really want to know. Let me tell you guys a story. There was this day I gave my cloth to this tailor to sew a dress for me. He told me that by next week it will be ready so that I can come for it. I told him I will be there next week. The following week I went there and he told me it wasn't ready that I should give him another week. I asked him if he was sure. He said yes and I left.  I came back the following week and he told me it wasn't ready. I got furious and I told him to give me my cloth because he wasn't being honest and truthful to me. Even as I am speaking to you a seamstress has my cloth that is yet to be done. Can you imagine? I hate this kind of treatment. Why can't they be truthful for once in their l...
