 I was talking to a friend some time ago and this came up. I realized that some men love speaking down on their ladies so that when the lady goes out she feels like she's not worthy.

The men do that because they feel insecure. They claim that when the lady gets to know how beautiful and smart she is, is going to get into her head. Seriously??? This is barbaric!!!

Are you not suppose to rather do the opposite so that when she goes out there she feels confident enough to do what she's suppose to do; Be it at work or at a hangout with her friends.

This is simply torture and this kind of relationship is toxic. It is verbal abuse. If you are in this kind of relationship please talk about it with your partner or just quit the relationship because you don't deserve this kind of relationship.

You are beautiful, smart , intelligent, unique, God's own handiwork. You don't need all that.

Run from it please before it destroys you. Someone who is not strong enough can easily commit suicide because she will keep questioning herself all the time.

Deep down I know a M.A.N (Mature, Assertive,  Noble) will not do this.



Always remember "Don't waste time on people who are toxic" Distance yourself!!!

  I was told the prep was going to be held at the dining hall since we haven't been given classes yet. I joined a batch of girls at the table and I opened a book to read.  We got down and stood infront of them. I was told to go to bed since I just came today. The seniors told them to showcase their talents right infront of them. One of them sang a Jordan Sparks song titled 'No Air', another sang a gospel song and one senior said who could sing Brick and lace song 'Love is wicked'. At the time, that song was reigning and was the ish. They were just standing there, no one came forward. I was just lying on my bed and I was singing that song. I didn't know they were listening because I thought I wasn't that loud so when I stopped I realized the place was super quiet. The next thing I heard was 'form one girl get down' . A Gift

  Do you have a gift? Deep down do you know it?  God has given us all gifts; some have one others have more. You just have to know how to use it.  That thing you are carrying could be a lifesaver to another person, whether small or big it doesn't matter. That is what God gave you and you should use it to the best of your ability.   Don't just sit on it. Do something with it. People are waiting for you to use it.
