Today is the day the lord has made 

and we will rejoice and be glad in it

Yesterday is passed 

Today is here

Make good use of it 

Don't stress yourself over yesterday

Think about the present

The NOW Factor

We overstress ourselves when we overthink of what we could have done to make things better when it was presented to us yesterday

Darlings, Don't worry your head too much 

You did the best you can

Move onto the next challenge and conquer that too

Don't allow certain things to convince you that you can't do this

Forget the naysayers

You can achieve anything you put your mind to 

And any skill can be learnt, you got to stay focused

Let your light shine so bright

And keep your head in the game




Always remember "Don't allow them dim your light"

  I was told the prep was going to be held at the dining hall since we haven't been given classes yet. I joined a batch of girls at the table and I opened a book to read. Some girls were just talking about what they did after they graduated from Junior high school and some were talking about trending things going on. The Form One XpeRienCe part 3

 We got down and stood infront of them. I was told to go to bed since I just came today. The seniors told them to showcase their talents right infront of them. One of them sang a Jordan Sparks song titled 'No Air', another sang a gospel song and one senior said who could sing Brick and lace song 'Love is wicked'. At the time, that song was reigning and was the ish. They were just standing there, no one came forward. I was just lying on my bed and I was singing that song. I didn't know they were listening because I thought I wasn't that loud so when I stopped I realized the place was super quiet. The next thing I heard was 'form one girl get down' .
