UPLIFTMENT 4


Death is inevitable so when it catches up with you at your doorstep, take it as one of those things that life brings.

I know is very hard when your loved ones leave you and you cry so hard but has much as you cry they will never come back to life. That's how life is. Just wish them well in their next life and you will be fine.

God can take life whenever he wants so we should be mindful of what we do and live our lives to the fullest before he calls us to his bosom.

I know everyone wants to go to heaven but how sure are you that you are in the book of life? hmmmm...........something to think about............

We must take life one step at a time and be grateful when you wake up from bed, hail and hearty cos they are so many people in the hospitals who are been fed, bathed etc. and wished they could at least do something on their own or probably walk about and enjoy life...........

Enjoy your day with a graceful heart, death will surely come whether you like it or not so live life whiles it last.

  I was told the prep was going to be held at the dining hall since we haven't been given classes yet. I joined a batch of girls at the table and I opened a book to read. Some girls were just talking about what they did after they graduated from Junior high school and some were talking about trending things going on. The Form One XpeRienCe part 3

 We got down and stood infront of them. I was told to go to bed since I just came today. The seniors told them to showcase their talents right infront of them. One of them sang a Jordan Sparks song titled 'No Air', another sang a gospel song and one senior said who could sing Brick and lace song 'Love is wicked'. At the time, that song was reigning and was the ish. They were just standing there, no one came forward. I was just lying on my bed and I was singing that song. I didn't know they were listening because I thought I wasn't that loud so when I stopped I realized the place was super quiet. The next thing I heard was 'form one girl get down' . I got up from my bed and stood infront of them then I was asked to sing the song I was singing. I did when I was done, I was asked to go back to bed and that was it. CHANGE

  Why do we concentrate too much on book knowledge and forget practicals? I have a friend learning Mechanical engineering and the person knows nothing about it.  The lecturer keeps giving them pamphlet and notes upon notes. Nothing to show for it. Most of the students in that class have no understanding of what the lecturer is teaching. They just read to pass and nothing more. If we are called upon to compete with a school outside the country, we will always fail because we know nothing when it comes to the actual thing. Our minds are filled with drawings, numbers and words. How can you be teaching a class mechanical engineering and never take them to the field to show them how things are done? How can you teach scientists without going through some practicals with them? Is this right? Does this sound okay to you? Change we must!!!! We must stop concentrating on the book knowledge and focus more on the practicals because seeing and practicing goes a long way. I am not saying b...
