Who do you consider as a Friend?

Who do you choose as your friends? Are you particular of the kind of people you select? Or you just select them based on what they have.

What is your definition of friendship?

In my opinion, friends are people who make you better. They offer good advice. They help you to evolve. They are not selfish. They are not jealous about you winning. They join hands to help each other climb the success ladder.

They connect you to people who will help you reach the top. They are loyal to you and they stay with you through thick and thin.

Be mindful when choosing your friends. Some friendships are for a lifetime and others are just a walk in a park.

Always remember " A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out"

The form One XpeRienCe (Senior High) Part 2

I was told the prep was going to be held at the dining hall since we haven't been given classes yet. I joined a batch of girls at the table and I opened a book to read. Some girls were just talking about what they did after they graduated from Junior high school and some were talking about trending things going on. I was just tired to even talk to anyone by the time I realized I was fast asleep. I don't know how fast the time went. After a while, I heard the siren and that immediately told me prep was over. I took my book and headed for the dormitory but first house prayers were made before we were allowed to enter into our dorms. I got in so exhausted. We got down and stood infront of them. I was told to go to bed since I just came today. The seniors told them to showcase their talents right infront of them. One of them sang a Jordan Sparks song titled 'No Air', another sang a gospel song and one senior said who could sing Brick and lace song 'Love is wicked'. At the time, that song was reigning and was the ish. They were just standing there, no one came forward. I was just lying on my bed and I was singing that song. I didn't know they were listening because I thought I wasn't that loud so when I stopped I realized the place was super quiet. The next thing I heard was 'form one girl get down' . Class was indeed interesting but I didn't like where I was sitting. My sitting partner was something else. The way she spoke to me I didn't like it at all. French was also boring for me at the time but I did enjoy it when I was in junior high. Wednesdays we had general assembly where all the teachers, the students and the headmistress would meet to discuss about certain things going on in the school. Saturdays was for entertainment and some times visiting. During my time, visiting happened twice in one month and it was nice. You get to eat proper home cooked meal or proper meal from a restaurant and that period was really cherished. That is the time you see different kinds of foods, drinks and snacks. It was really a time for sharing. Sundays were church days and work days. The church is mostly held at the Asibey Hall in the morning and sometimes we would go to the presbyterian church in the town to join the community members there for service.
