An experience I had with Time

Have you been in this situation before? Some time back I was going for a program and the event was in the evening so I had already ironed my dress the day before. Prepped everything I needed for the next day so I knew nothing was going to delay me for this program.

The next day I woke up, did my chores and everything. Late afternoon around 3pm I decided to take a nap so I set an alarm to get up around 5:30pm because the program was for 8:00pm.

I did sleep but when the alarm rang for me to wake up I felt I hadn't had enough so I added 30 minutes to the time since I thought I still had time since I had already done all the necessary things

When I finally woke up, I just put water on my body, dressed up and ordered for the Uber.

The Uber finally came and we set off but traffic dealt with me big time.

I got there and the program had already started. I got so angry but one thing I forgot to factor in was the traffic.

Ghana traffic is hell and if you decide not to include it, it will deal with you mercilessly.

I don't know if you've experienced this before.

This experience taught me to factor everything whenever am going somewhere and also to leave earlier so that even if I meet traffic it won't get the chance to deal with me.

True words were never spoken unless you associate your life with some people your life will improve. Anytime you tolerate mediocrity and others it increases your mediocrity. An important attribute in successful people is their impatience with negative thinking and negative acting people. As you grow your associates will change. Your friends will not want you to go on, they would want you to stay where they are. Friends that don't help you climb will want you to crawl. Your friends will stretch your vision or choke your dreams. Those that don't increase you will eventually decrease you. Consider this never receive counsel from unproductive people. Never discuss your problems with somebody who is incapable of contributing to the solution because those who never succeed themselves are always first to tell you how.
