Fud For Thought-Sunday Special

I was on my bed thinking about why I started this blog in the beginning and I remembered that I did because I was bored at the time.

Writing was something I loved doing but nobody was seeing my work because I never posted it for people to read them and also to get views. Now is in the open and everyone can clearly see it. Writing is my passion and I love it among other things.

Most people have desires and things they would want to accomplish but they always want to wait for the right time to do it or sometimes they are indeed scared or shy to come out of their shell to do that one thing that they love.

Darling, don't be!!! and please don't say is a total waste of time because its not. If is something you love trust me is not a waste of time but is worth it.It could be acting, designing, catering, singing,modelling etc. Don't do a mistake of waiting for the right time to start doing it because the clock always keeps ticking and never stopping so go for it and don't wait.

The form One XpeRienCe (Senior High) Part 2

I was told the prep was going to be held at the dining hall since we haven't been given classes yet. I joined a batch of girls at the table and I opened a book to read. Some girls were just talking about what they did after they graduated from Junior high school and some were talking about trending things going on. I was just tired to even talk to anyone by the time I realized I was fast asleep. I don't know how fast the time went. After a while, I heard the siren and that immediately told me prep was over. I took my book and headed for the dormitory but first house prayers were made before we were allowed to enter into our dorms. I got in so exhausted. We got down and stood infront of them. I was told to go to bed since I just came today. The seniors told them to showcase their talents right infront of them. One of them sang a Jordan Sparks song titled 'No Air', another sang a gospel song and one senior said who could sing Brick and lace song 'Love is wicked'. At the time, that song was reigning and was the ish. They were just standing there, no one came forward. I was just lying on my bed and I was singing that song. I didn't know they were listening because I thought I wasn't that loud so when I stopped I realized the place was super quiet. The next thing I heard was 'form one girl get down' . Why do we concentrate too much on book knowledge and forget practicals? I have a friend learning Mechanical engineering and the person knows nothing about it. The lecturer keeps giving them pamphlet and notes upon notes. Nothing to show for it. Most of the students in that class have no understanding of what the lecturer is teaching. They just read to pass and nothing more. If we are called upon to compete with a school outside the country, we will always fail because we know nothing when it comes to the actual thing. Our minds are filled with drawings, numbers and words. How can you be teaching a class mechanical engineering and never take them to the field to show them how things are done? How can you teach scientists without going through some practicals with them? Is this right? Does this sound okay to you? Change we must!!!! We must stop concentrating on the book knowledge and focus more on the practicals because seeing and practicing goes a long way. I am not saying b...
