UPLIPTMENT 14


      When we were babies, we practically just cried and we got everything we wanted. Thinking that life was that easy. At a push of a button we get everything we desire but as we grew up, things changed and reality sets in. We realized that life is not that easy but it takes hard work, determination and persistence.
      Before you get what you desire or want you have to sweat. You need to dig up the soil. You need to strive hard. Is not that easy. Many people have walked that road; some have succeeded and others have failed that's the realities of life. You win some, you lose some.
      Losing and getting back up doesn't make you a failure but losing and staying there makes you one. We wake up every morning and hope for success at our jobs. We all want to be successful. We all want to be rich. No one wants to be poor. No one wants to be a failure that's the realities of life. We yearn for the positive aspects rich, successful, prosperous, etc. no one wants the negatives. Immediately the negatives set in we quickly blame other things and not say the faults were from us. Is quite a pity when we know the faults is from us and still blame other people or other things.
     We should admit our faults and own up to it and learn from our mistakes. Everyday we grow. We grow in knowledge. We grow in learning something new. We grow in our own prospects because we always have new ideas by viewing the world or reading something etc. We have to be real about this life. We should learn and see things differently. We should think out of the box and do things the way we want and not what life brings us. Someone once said " When life gives you lemons, make lemonade" don't sit there and eat them the way they are. Be creative. Be adventurous. When opportunity presents itself to you grab it and make something good out of it. Opportunity comes but once. If you have a talent be it singing, dancing, playing football etc. showcase it. Let the world see it. It was given to you for a reason. If you don't know yours, try and join a group and pick something you think you love and from there you will start developing your talent. You might even be surprised that they are many, meaning you are truly blessed. Not many people have that. 

 Always be yourself and continue to strive hard. YOU ARE NO QUITTER........

  I was told the prep was going to be held at the dining hall since we haven't been given classes yet. I joined a batch of girls at the table and I opened a book to read. Some girls were just talking about what they did after they graduated from Junior high school and some were talking about trending things going on. The Form One XpeRienCe part 3

 We got down and stood infront of them. I was told to go to bed since I just came today. The seniors told them to showcase their talents right infront of them. One of them sang a Jordan Sparks song titled 'No Air', another sang a gospel song and one senior said who could sing Brick and lace song 'Love is wicked'. At the time, that song was reigning and was the ish. They were just standing there, no one came forward. I was just lying on my bed and I was singing that song. I didn't know they were listening because I thought I wasn't that loud so when I stopped I realized the place was super quiet. The next thing I heard was 'form one girl get down' . I got up from my bed and stood infront of them then I was asked to sing the song I was singing. I did when I was done, I was asked to go back to bed and that was it. A Gift

  Do you have a gift? Deep down do you know it?  God has given us all gifts; some have one others have more. You just have to know how to use it.  That thing you are carrying could be a lifesaver to another person, whether small or big it doesn't matter. That is what God gave you and you should use it to the best of your ability.   Don't just sit on it. Do something with it. People are waiting for you to use it. If you are there and you have a gift and you are not using it please start using it because is that important.  Get up and start using it. Get up right now and do it. God has reasons why he chose you and gave you the gifts because one day He is going to ask you what you did with it and how are you going to answer?  You don't want to be caught up in that situation.
