A POEM- A NEW DAWN





The beautiful sunset shines on my face as I woke up to another day
A day of uncertainty but hope 
A day with imaginary visions but bold step
Today chose me and you for a reason
Not because of our beauty or intelligence but something more deeper than we think
We need to start thinking about that and stop degrading ourselves 
This beautiful sunset marks the beginning of an untold story of our lives
A story which will change the mindsets of people
A story which will give people hope
A story that will give you that urge to be super confident and determined as ever
A story that will go places
Where your feet can't even walk to
There will lie your success
Your hardwork
Your smiles
Your persistence
Your never to quit attitude
All wrapped together into something greater than this world
Has ever imagined

  I was told the prep was going to be held at the dining hall since we haven't been given classes yet. I joined a batch of girls at the table and I opened a book to read. Some girls were just talking about what they did after they graduated from Junior high school and some were talking about trending things going on. The Form One XpeRienCe part 3

 We got down and stood infront of them. I was told to go to bed since I just came today. The seniors told them to showcase their talents right infront of them. One of them sang a Jordan Sparks song titled 'No Air', another sang a gospel song and one senior said who could sing Brick and lace song 'Love is wicked'. At the time, that song was reigning and was the ish. They were just standing there, no one came forward. I was just lying on my bed and I was singing that song. I didn't know they were listening because I thought I wasn't that loud so when I stopped I realized the place was super quiet. The next thing I heard was 'form one girl get down' . I got up from my bed and stood infront of them then I was asked to sing the song I was singing. I did when I was done, I was asked to go back to bed and that was it. A Gift

  Do you have a gift? Deep down do you know it?  God has given us all gifts; some have one others have more. You just have to know how to use it.  That thing you are carrying could be a lifesaver to another person, whether small or big it doesn't matter. That is what God gave you and you should use it to the best of your ability.   Don't just sit on it. Do something with it. People are waiting for you to use it. If you are there and you have a gift and you are not using it please start using it because is that important.  Get up and start using it. Get up right now and do it.
